Next month we will embark on a 17 day journey to California and back along the famed Route 66. We are three. Mom, Dad and six year old son. You’ll be hearing perspectives from all three of us as we make our way along the route.

We’ll be joined by family for five days somewhere in the middle.

Until then we’ll be sharing some of our planning and packing ideas as we gear up for the biggest trip we’ve ever made.

We hope you’ll find our stories entertaining and perhaps inspiring for you to carve your own routes to building family memories and adventures.
